Anthony J. Romano
Mr. Romano is renowned in counterintelligence/counterterrorism operations, training supervision and oversight of security personnel.
Prior to joining Powhatan Group, Romano served as an Internal Investigator for the Office of Investigations/Internal Affairs Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). In this role, Romano conducted investigations, interrogations, testimony and reports of possible misconduct by agency employees. Romano also served as Senior Instructor for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), as a subject matter expert assigned to law enforcement areas of investigative skills, operations and procedures.
Prior, Romano was the Counterintelligence Training Program Manager for the U.S. Naval Criminal Investigative Service Training Academy (FLETC), and the former Senior Special Agent for the U.S. Naval Criminal Investigative Service. During his tenure, Romano conducted and supervised criminal, counterintelligence, counterterrorism investigations and operations pertaining to the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps.
