Lewis D. Schiliro
Mr. Schiliro provides a wealth of experience and expertise in the supervision, management, and leadership of both public and private organizations. He has extensive experience in both Domestic and International terrorism cases and is a Court qualified expert in Organized Crime.
Prior to joining Powhatan Group, Schiliro maintained various leadership positions as the Senior Vice President for AIG World Investigative Group, Director of Inter-Agency Preparedness for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Senior Executive Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel for MBNA America Bank.
Schiliro began his career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and retired as the Assistant Director in Charge responsible for the supervision, management and leadership of over 2,300 Special Agents and support personnel in all areas of Criminal, National Security and International and Domestic Terrorism.
Schiliro served as a board member of The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. for 7 years and is an adjunct professor of Criminal Justice for Wilmington College. He was also an adjunct professor at Fordham University Law School. Schiliro received a J.D. from The Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, a B.A. in Economics from Hofstra University, and is a graduate of Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government Program for Senior Managers in Government and of the National Executive Institute.
